Have You Had Good Experiences with the Village Early Learning Center?
Let the World Know!
Note* – It has come to our attention, that even though The Village ELC gets great write-ups on Yelp.com, that those results are systematically suppressed implying our establishment has an other than stellar reputation. One of eleven (1/11) existing reviews was semi-negative, and yet it was the only one posted? Yelp.com is not a reliable website for information about businesses and should be avoided in our opinion (for all subject areas). Please, don’t take our word for it, investigate yourself and tell your friends. Screenshots are available at the bottom of the page.
The 5 minutes you take to leave a review could make a monumental difference in helping the Village grow, and our fellow parents in the area make decisions about their children! Here’s what you can do:
Three Simple Steps to Leaving a Review: (This example is for Google Plus)
1. Click HERE to reach our Google Plus page
2. There’s a big orange “Write a Review” button, click that
3. Choose 1 – 5 stars, and write your review! That’s it!
Note: You need to be logged in to a Gmail account to leave your review. If you don’t have one, there will be a link to sign up for one, it will take a few minutes.
Remember, people DO read these reviews, and they DO base their decisions on what their peers write about their experiences! Please take a few minutes to let the world know what we think about the Village!
If you have any questions, simply send them along via the contact form.
Why NOT Yelp?
Yelp.com uses an “automated” filtering system that supposedly filters out spam reviews, or those write-ups that businesses might pay to have put up on their site boosting their ratings.
But the proof is in the pudding, you can’t even find the “filtered” reviews unless you know where to look, and they don’t care if they are valid or not.
The bottom line is:
Either Yelp.com’s filter is broken, or Yelp.com the company is broken.

The Village Early Learning Center on Yelp.com (3.24.13). Note* – The good review was put up on the same day as the screenshots, so it will certainly be removed soon.
Note* – As predicted, the good review from 3.24.13 shown above has been filtered out and neatly hidden away. Luckily, this week we have another 5 STAR good review (Thank you Amy G of Valrico). Notice that the ONLY 2 STAR review just keeps hanging around. I am documenting these public reviews so, if Yelp.com tries to get the Village ELC to advertise with them and is refused, then there will be evidence of the good reviews, all TWELVE of them now.
